It was working great a couple months ago, but now it's back to the old issue where playback pauses each time a commercial break is reached, vs. the expected behavior which is that the playback skips over the commercial and keeps playing back instead of pausing.
Can you try this build:

Unfortunately, the link does not work.

Is that build intended to address the mythtv skip/seek problem in the recent builds? If not, are you looking into it? Is there any info I could provide that would help?

It's the rbej build on the previous page. I believe it includes a fix I made that made the sample file with and edl file play.

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - Jönke - 2013-08-06

Rbej is it possible for you to make a testbuild based on OpenELEC-RPi.arm-Rbej-Version-Gotham-Branch(07.06.2013) without all new xbmc updates that have messed up livetv/pvr.
And only add popcornmix audio/video sync fix ? Smile

No. This is impossible. Too many changes in code. Sorry.

Thanks MilhouseVH for your response.
I am enjoying Openelec.

(2013-08-06, 09:54)desperado77 Wrote: Hi,

Well, I also tried to update to this awesome builds with NFS booting, and it didn't work for me.

I did it by starting with an OpenELEC image written to the sdcard with win32diskimager.
I placed rbej's Gotham build (KERNEL, KERNEL.md5, SYSTEM and SYSTEM.md5) into .update folder in storage folder.

Again, if you're not using boot=/dev/mmcblk0p1, you'll not get a successful update using the auto-update process, so when booting with NFS what you experienced is expected.

(2013-08-06, 09:54)desperado77 Wrote: Now what i am doing is just to overwrite SYSTEM file from rbej's build to my NFS system folder, and the rest of the needed files to the sdcard, and reboot.
It seems to be updating correctly, since the system info shows the last versions.

Do you think its correct updating this way, i am missing something ?

No, sounds like you've done the right thing. Drop the new SYSTEM wherever your SYSTEM file is, the new KERNEL (renamed to kernel.img) to your SD Card, and finally extract the bootcode.bin/fixup.dat/start.elf files either from the new SYSTEM or the target folder of the new image and copy those also to the SD card.

Not sure if you mean rbej or stock OE, but the trickplay patch has already been back-ported to stock OpenELEC in the 3.1.5 release which is available for testing.

(2013-08-06, 07:26)rbej Wrote: Updated Gotham Branch

- updated kernel (3.10.5)

- updated Xbmc Gotham

- support switching to 3D resolutions

- apply deinterlace changes immediately

- fix uninitialised variable that can lose audio packet

http://netlir.dk/rbej/builds/

http://lysin.me/rbej

I did some testing on this build. My findings are:
1) The audio bug is only present in Live TV. When watching HD channels with Dolby Digital my amp does not detect any audio stream anymore. This audio bug is not present on recordings, movies and TV shows.
2) When watching Live TV, when I change the audio source to MP3, it does also change the channel I'm watching.

Feels and works a little better than previous version. I found edl skip function to work fine for me.
I experience reboot to logo screen when I try to change sort options in video files, this is repeatable so a bug somewhere bmc code?
I have live TV disabled (Argus) ... I will need to test..

Before that my rasp played the 3D Movies, so i dont has to manually push the 3D Button on my remote. I started a film and the TV (LG 620LM65) switched automatic to 3D mode, if turned manually the 3D mode off, the Movie was in 2D. This was the reason i decided for Rasp. But now if i played a 3D movie, i have the two SBS oder HOU Pictures an must manually switch to 3D, like with other players or over UPNP. And if 3D movie ist played now, the on Screen menu, is totally (because of the two pictures overlayed) destroyed and to catch e. g. the "Subtitle" button, is like lottery winning. Wink

Hi, thx for the Link i ll try on Weekend, cause im on a business trip, sadly Sad

When I watch a movie my TV displays 1920x1080 @25Hz, also with Live TV. The GUI is 60Hz. The previously builds haven't had this problem.

A debug log would be useful for this.

----OpenELEC_Gotham-RPi.arm-devel-20130729091824-r15231 ---
In this build had a crash on playing different mp3 files after some time!

I tested the last Build:

+ I have no problems with mp3 files
+ The last Build running good

- Restart does not work still

If I have several mp3 files, I can synchronize the volume?
Sometimes a song is quieter.

@popcornmix, here is the log (http://www.mediafire.com/download/xz5qfx8eb31l98w/xbmc_7-8-2013.zip). I noticed that 720p has a refreshrate of 24Hz.

RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - goRt - 2013-08-07

Last version where DB on mySQL works is OpenELEC-RPi.arm-Rbej-Version-Gotham-Branch(31.07.2013)
After that updates to the DB are missing, also updates within the DB are not downloaded to the RPi

NO error messages in the xbmc.log

Thanks (also using NFS for storage)
