RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - rbej - 2013-08-09 (2013-08-09, 00:50)tosh123 Wrote:(2013-08-08, 21:49)rbej Wrote: Updated Gotham Branch Try this: Updated Gotham Branch - updated OpenElec build http://netlir.dk/rbej/builds/ http://lysin.me/rbej Help, watch 3D Film on Non 3D TV - unix72 - 2013-08-09 I play with openelec/rbej build already for some time. until rbej build 31.7.2013 i can play a SBS3D film on my NON 3D TV without any problem (only 1 Picture on screen) After that I couldn't see any 3D Film any more. There's always 2 Picture on screen. I already try to set the 3D mode at Watch as 2D, but it still shows 2 pic. on screen. could someone help me and tell me, what have I done wrong? Many thanks and sorry for my bad english. I hope you could understand me. EDIT: I use Gotham Build RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - SSC_Jarod - 2013-08-09 (2013-08-09, 12:39)unix72 Wrote: I play with openelec/rbej build already for some time. Try to set the 3D mode to "None". This helps me to make my 3D TV to switch automaticly to 3D mode and if turn the 3D mode on tv off, i see the Movie in 2D. if that fails, rename a part of the movie to "xxxx3DSBS.mkv" or "xxxx3DTAB.mkv (bei HOU movies).. This helps on my and my girlfriends pi (none 3D TV) to watch in 3D automaticly or in 2D. And you MUST under Palyback the "Adjust display refresh rate" set to ALWAYS otherwise he didnt recognise the 3D on my pi and plays it only 2D. But maybe, in your case i could help to turn off to see 2D. Must try these possibilities Greetz, J. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - unix72 - 2013-08-09 thanks Jarod, I'll tried your method this weekend. Until 04.08 it was OK Hello rbej, in the new build is the reset bug, if i would change the view in the Movie oder TV-Series Database (List, Thumbnail, Fanart,), still present. If i like to change the view and press button, xbmc resets immediatly and restarts. UPDATE: After some hours of testing, i think i got the bad boy which makes the resets. I saw that there is a ViewModes6.db and in my other Branches (Gotham Alpha 5, Frodo 12.2) there are ViewModes4 and 5.db. So if i take the last newest ViewModes5.db and delete the ViewModes6.db in the Alpha7, then i could switch some ViewModes in the Movie or TV Database. But only in first view if you go in TV-Shows! If you are in a TV Show e. g. 24 and you have there 7 Seasons and want to switch the View there, it takes a reset too. So i think the Version 6 of the ViewModes is somehow broken and makes everytime a reset if you want to switch the ViewModes, but with the old ones you got only 50% of the ViewModes. So nothing is really satisfactionally... Hope this helps to get the ViewMode working again. Greetz, J. RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - doveman2 - 2013-08-10 I'm having some trouble with the WOL feature. It obviously tried as there was a delay when I selected a movie to play, before it came up with the "Do you want to remove this from the library" dialog. I tested with sending the WOL packet from another PC using WakeOnLANGUI.exe and using the same MAC and Subnet 255.255.255.255 it woke up. It also has settings for Internet Address and Port number which are set to my no-ip address and Port 8 (which my router is set to forward to port 7 on the PC) but I don't think they're used when it's set to send over the Local Subnet rather than Internet. I note that wakeonlan.xml also has the LAN IP address but I'm not sure that's needed either: This is what mine looks like (minus the MAC which I've removed): Quote:<onaccesswakeup> RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - Koloss - 2013-08-10 Fast Forward and Rewind running very good in the new builds! I can navigate up down left right, but I can't select anything in the gui. In debug logs I get this when pressing the select button on my remote: Code: DEBUG: CLinuxInputDevice::KeyEvent: TranslateKey returned XBMCK_UNKNOWN from code(352) I had to go back to this version to make all buttons work again on my remote. (13.0-ALPHA7 Git:831ee8c), Built on Aug 4 2013 (GCC version 4.7.3). Platform: Linux (OpenElec Rbej Version Custom Build, 3.10.3 armv6l) RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - doveman2 - 2013-08-10 I booted with my PC on, so the Mediaportal PVR addon was able to connect to the server and didn't throw up any errors. Then my PC went to standby and I opened the All TV Channels screen and selected BBC One, which threw up an error as expected as the PC was not available. So I woke the PC intending to try again but since then (11:51) the GUI has been stuck, although the log shows that at 11:54 it did some stuff in the background. TOP shows xbmc.bin using 99% CPU. http://pastebin.com/68Bb4ydP RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - doveman2 - 2013-08-10 I keep running into this issue, where I have TV playing and I go into the GUI (it's happened in various places, Settings, Addons, Home) and have TV in the background, or just a small window on Home and it's fine for a while and I can browse through the menus, etc but then suddenly the menus stop responding and the playback becomes extremely stuttery, video and audio but obviously audio is somewhat more annoying as it plays like 100ms at a time! I have to hard reset to fix it, which I can do with Putty but that's a pain and most people will just switch it off and on again. http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=43954 EDIT: I thought I'd try disabling Visuals as Background and Media State Overlays (using xTV-SAF skin) to prevent it showing the TV picture when in the menus. This just seems to have made things worse though! I started TV and pressed my Guide button which opens the TImeline EPG and this time it failed to open and just left me with a extremely stuttery fullscreen TV and unresponsive GUI. Previously it always took quite a few seconds to open the Guide and TV briefly paused/audio cut-out just before it opened but this never happened before. http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=43962 Hmm, seems reproducible on this particular channel (Yesterday). I obviously haven't tested every other channel but on Film 4 it doesn't seem to have this problem going into the EPG/GUI. http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=43964 |
