RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - mcarni - 2014-02-09 Popconrmix, I tested some more (closed all doors, sat at 10cm from the TV and asked the wife to listen too...) and I am positive that with "no_hdmi_resample=1" there is crackling while with the same option set to 0 there is no crackling. Note. Crackling is not loud has it happened in the past, I am not sure it happens always at teh same time in teh video...I am guessing not... but I am not positive...I am pretty sure it was not there in January's builds... I set the option to 1 and 0 at least a couple of times and I tested on 2 different files. Code: General Code: General let me know if there is naything else you need me to check M RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - popcornmix - 2014-02-09 (2014-02-08, 10:35)vprasinos Wrote: The new build r17666 as I see does include popcornmix's fix [rbp/omxplayer] Never trust pts in avi files . However, I don't think this fix does anything on handling judder in panning camera sequences in packed bitstream files. Latest firmware has a more advanced scheme when used with "avoid_fix_ts=0" where it will pick the better of the two timestamp choices available (by picking the stream than minimises the variance in the period). Ideally it will fix the packed/unpacked bistream timestamp issues without causing stutter problems with files with good timestamps. So can you update firmware and add "avoid_fix_ts=0" to config.txt. You have passthrough disabled. You have speaker configuration set to 2.0 The audio is ouput from TV (rather than receiver) RE: OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi Part 2 - denz - 2014-02-10 I would appreciate if somebody can help me with wifi settings. I update to the latest built and on the weekend I have disabled ext4 from the usb stick and it speed up the raspberry pi. However every time I restart the pi I have to keep re-entering wifi passcode. I have searched the forums and put the passcode in the xml file /storage/.xbmc/userdata/addon_data/service.openelec.settings but it made no difference what is the correct location of the file ? Or should I reformat everything and reinstall again ? Something like this (assuming the USB stick is /dev/sda1)?: Do a "cd /" first (without quotes of course). ps. It's tune2fs, not tune4fs. It's great, taking about 4-5% CPU. I packed the whole thing into an Openelec addon and I'm planning to make it available soon. Just have a look at the Hyperion thread (http://forum.stmlabs.com/showthread.php?tid=11053). I finally finished my XBMC add-on to install hyperion to Openelec systems. It's available at Github. Download the add-on as ZIP file from here . If there are any issues please pm me. I'll try to fix any issues ASAP and update the add-on if any hyperion updates are available or changes to the test builds break the installation.
