Any new ways of dealing with scene vs. real scraping? - asiajason - 2014-02-23 Has there been any recent developments or ways of dealing with the issues regarding the naming problems with scene releases vs. actual (or DVD) ordering? ie, American Dad, season 1 dvd is 23 eps. but thetvdb uses the ordering season 1 is 7 eps. So all downloads have to be manually moved and renamed. Its the only part of my system that is not fully automated. Last time I looked into this issue 2 years ago, there was something being developed to take care of this issue - some kind of intermediary db, or something. but i forget what that was. Is there any any way of dealing with this? RE: Any new ways of dealing with scene vs. real scraping? - Ned Scott - 2014-02-26 Use the ZEM scraper RE: Any new ways of dealing with scene vs. real scraping? - asiajason - 2014-03-06 Hi Ned, I did a search here and didn't turn up anything on "zem" and a google search returned my xbmc forum post. Can you point me in the right location? Thanks RE: Any new ways of dealing with scene vs. real scraping? - gbandit - 2014-03-06 "XEM" http://addons.xbmc.org/show/metadata.thexem.de/ http://thexem.de http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=136169 - original thread RE: Any new ways of dealing with scene vs. real scraping? - Ned Scott - 2014-03-07 Oops, sorry, yeah, XEM.
