I have tried to change the layout of recorded tv in Amber skin and had some success however I have to click on the * All Recordings which is annoying so I would like to know can you make it default that it always displays All Recordings or is that built in XBMC that you cannot change.

If your backend creates subfolders for recordings the folder "* All Recordings" is created automatically by XBMC. I'm not happy with this auto created folder at all.
It should be better to handle this in settings "Recordings presentation" with option "Flat" and "Hierarchical" and remove this "All recordings" folder.

Thanks xhaggi I will try posting this in the WMC thread and see if someone there is able to help. I prefer the horizontal view it is much easier to move my finger left right than up and down.
