G Box Midnight MX2 Meta Data For TV Episodes - s3v3nnds1nn - 2014-04-07
Hi this is my first post. This is also the first time I have had or used XBMC.
I was able to download the meta data for the movies. I am having issues with the tv episodes. Is there a specific way that they need to be labeled? I have a WD TV Live also and I have no issues getting the data linked to the file. The location on the nas is multimedia/05 tv shows/the walking dead/the walking dead s01/(then the actual episodes) which are labeled 'the walking dead s01e01'. There was an option for files in folders. I did select it.
The other question. Is there a way to have tv episodes and movies in one folder and the device find the data for both the movies and tv show without separate folders.
Sorry I am a total noob. I got the device yesterday and I was able to watch some youtube video's about it. People had individual folders for each movie. I have way too many movies to take the time to add folders for each one.

so i figured out what to do, sort of. i have the info for the series i.e. what it is about and such but not for every episode.

i got it. it was so simple. it was the layout selected folder.
