Problem with starting the xbmc application - batatagizou - 2014-04-08
I installed xbmc on my computer but if I start the xbmc application it says ‘’error unable to create GUI. EXITING"
My drivers are all up to date..
Windows 7 / 32 bit
Intel® Pentium® 4
CPU 3.00GHz
2,99 GHz
Ram: 2,00 GB

You need a video card that supports OpenGL and a graphic driver installed.

I checked the Intel website for you. According to the screenshot you are using an Intel 865G Graphics Adapter. Unfortunately, there are no Windows 7 drivers available. It just isn't supported by Intel anymore.
The best option is to buy an inexpensive videocard that is compatible with your motherboard.

Voor deze keer ook nog even in het Nederlands:
Deze videokaart wordt niet meer ondersteunt in Windows 7. Je kan het beste een goedkope kaart kopen voor ~€25 o.i.d. en die gebruiken. Zorg er wel voor dat 'ie op je moederbord past. Als het een erg oud moederbord is heb je misschien nog een AGP aansluiting i.p.v. PCI-E.
