Movie Collection software - rmilyard - 2014-04-15 I am looking to see what people are using for keeping track of movies. I have a lot over 2 NAS drives and several USB drives so keeping track of all this is a job. Anyone using something for this? I seem to recall that you can use a plugin (DVDLoader) and are able to link to a file on your network to play the file. I'm semi-new with XBMC, but it should be relatively easy to link to the file and use XBMC as the default player. DVD Profiler catalogs DVDs, HD-DVDs (if you have them) and Blu-rays. You can also do custom entries (such as video clips, home movies, etc.) with custom artwork and info. Just letting xbmc handle them on the NAS now. Not sure if something better to scape the movies with as I am also new to xbmc. RE: Movie Collection software - pr0xZen - 2014-04-16 Have you tried enabling http, and just check the web browser interface "movies" section before you download or rip something? H.t.t.p://your.internal.ip.here:8080 - Might not be exactly what you're looking for, but it wight also do the job. Requires a manual check though. RE: Movie Collection software - rwspears - 2014-04-16 I am using Media Center Master http://www.mediacentermaster.com/ It does Metadata Scraping and has some built in XBMC features RE: Movie Collection software - Piers - 2014-04-16 (2014-04-15, 23:23)tboggie Wrote: Trakt +1 - I use this to keep a full record of what I've watched. If I then ever need to rescan my library I let trakt handle the watched status of all my files - it's the simplest automated method I've found. |
