FTP SSL server connection not possible? - lalamite - 2014-04-16
Hi guys,
just tried to add my external ftp server adress as a folder within the video section.
But I wasn*t able to connect to the server.
It's an SSL FTP (Auth SSL).
XBMC 12.4 is installed (on an Android 4.2)
What I tried so far:
1. choose standard ftp in xbmx list menu --> not working
2. choose sftp in xmbx liste menu --> not working
3. edited the sources.xml to ftp://user:pass@ip:port?auth=ssl/ --> not working
Anyone an idea why it doesn't work?
If I try to connect to the server with e.g. Firefox a message appears that my client need to have PRET. Could it be that this is the reason (btw. I don't know whtat PRET means).
Would be great if anybody can help me (if a logfile is helpful please tell me where I can find it).
