[Solved] Livestream Audio issue with Gotham Beta3 and 4 - gujal - 2014-04-22
I have some videos playing fine with Gotham Beta1 and 2. However on Beta 3 and 4, I get perfect video but no audio.
The audio output setup is simple analog stereo audio connected to speakers.
Please let me know what debug captures are needed to resolve this issue. Thanks

Okay figured out the issue. The audio stream is encoded at 16000Hz (and hence cr@p audio quality). XBMC Beta 3 onwards has new audio subsystem and it doesn't work with this frequency be default. It works fine when the parameter "Output Configuration" is changed to "Fixed" by going System -> Settings -> System -> Audio Output and the paramater "Limit Sampling Rate (kHz)" is set to "48.0"
