audio drop out on some tv programs - lloyders88 - 2014-04-25
hello i have just noticed that voice audio has dropped out but background noise is still working on a few of my tv programs. This has happened all of a sudden with no settings changed to xbmc or av receiver, any help will be appreciated thanks. A log file has been provided.

Do you use stereo or surround sound?

i use surround sound and I have found the problem, i unchecked audio pass through and the sound came back to normal again. maybe the program didnt support surround sound?

The file you were playing had stereo sound only. I suspect your AVR/speakers are messing with the signal somehow.
