One Live TV Channel - Dark - sonrah - 2014-05-05

I have an issue that I don't know if it's related to serverwmc or xbmc, but when I'm watching one particular channel, the screen is dark. Viewing it with WMC or WinTV works fine.

I don't know what logs y'all need, but I can provide 'em.

Can you please post a ServerWMC log showing this channel being viewed to pastebin?

Also if you could upload small sample WTV and TS files from this channel (2 minutes would do) to somewhere (dropbox, googledrive etc) that might be useful too. To do this, you can untick the "delete temporary files" option on ServerWMC" then view the channel for a couple of minutes then stop ServerWMC. The WTV and TS file from the channel viewing should be in the "Recorded TV\TempSWMC" folder. Then turn on the "delete temporary files" option again so you dont keep accumulating them

I took at look at the files you uploaded. The wtv file recorded on that channel plays fine in wmc and wmp but is dark in xbmc. Since xbmc doesn't play the wtv file correctly, its not a problem with serverwmc, rather this is a bug with xbmc (or probably the version of ffmpeg it is using). Interestingly, mediabrowser also uses ffmpeg (although probably a diff version) but it plays the file correctly (at least in chrome).

Assuming scarecrow confirms it, I suggest you submit this wtv in a bug ticket to the xbmc team.
