Question: importing recordings into NextPVR - infocus13 - 2014-05-26
Hi folks
I'm considering switching from ArgusTV to NextPVR.
Is it possible to import existing Argus recordings (MPG/TS format) into NextPVR's recordings database? If so, how easy is it to do?

I wrote a utility for ForTheRecord that might work http://forums.gbpvr.com/showthread.php?52846-Migrating-from-For-The-Record-(FTR)-to-NPVR with a little tweaking for Gotham if the export mentioned in step 4 still exists.

Basically you can create a NextPVR for recording-dump xml file, and import it. For details, you're probably best to ask this question over at the NextPVR forums, where there is a couple of people that have helped in the past with importing recordings from other apps. There might be was to do it automatically etc.
