Resolved: No Sound In XBMC but OK in Windows - wdpcpa - 2014-05-31 Hardware and Software: 1. Acer RL100 with SATA replacing HDD 2. Yamaha RX-V671 AVP 3 . Connected HDMI 4. Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit 5. Frodo 12.2 compiled May 2013 6. Transparancy V5.09 7. Debug link: http://pastebin.com/tQwVLwYw Issue: All of a sudden, I can’t hear any sound on anything in my library when played through XBMC. Things I played just a couple of days ago don’t have sound. However, I can play the same files in VLC just fine. I have hit the + key just to make sure. My setup is all HDMI and goes… Computer>AVP>TV (video) Speakers 5.1 (audio). That worked. My XBMC sound has been good for a year and I have no idea why it worked before. Or if the settings got changed recently, how that could happen. I read about WASAPI settings but I was sure it couldn't be that because I had not changed anything. Many thanks for the quick reply. |
