MKV subtitle extraction with Bubbleupnp - crossmr - 2014-05-31
Not sure if I'm posting this properly:
I have an android phone (galaxy s3) running bubbleupnp.
I have xmbc (I think 12, I can't seem to find a good way to view the version number anywhere on it, I downloaded it a few months ago)
it's set up as a UPNP server.
I have a samsung TV with a chromecast attached.
bubbleupnp has had n problems seeing the files, but subtitles have been an issue
whenever I try to load an MKV which has subtitles, it always says "Subtitle extraction failed"
I don't know if this is an xbmc issue or bubbleupnp or the MKV file.
if I try to use an SRT file locally on my phone to upload via bubble upnp I get the message "uploading subtitle failed"
the subtitles themselves work fine if I view them locallly on xbmc.
bubbleupnp doens't have much in the way of support, so if there is anything I can do on the xbmc side of things to fix this issue, I'd appreciate some help.
