Thank you for releasing this amazing skin Piers. I've noticed one small issue:

There seems to be a debug text operating on the top left of the screen. Here's a screenshot:

Image

It appears and the values change every time I change screens etc, so it's live. Maybe you accidentally forgot to disable it?

Hope that helps and thanks once again for releasing this skin as soon as you could. Looking forward to your further updates. Wink

Running Kodi Helix 14.0 RC1 on the Amazon Fire TV.

I'll do a new release to fix that!
EDIT: New download link on main page for v2.1.1 - fixes debug text displaying. Sorry about that.

Running version 3.40.55, the debug text is appearing in the top left corner (same as Piers, above).

Eg, Window:addoninformation (DialogAddonInfo.xml) Mouse: (0,0) Focused: 20 (button)

I don't see a switch in settings to disable it. Help?

Love the skin. Far and away the most functional and best / cleanest looking I've used.

~~Douglas

Where can we find the download to correct the above issue?

Thanks

Yup, just looked for a half hour and figured I'd ask as well... a link to the link anyone?

RE: (Helix) 1080XF 3.40.x for Kodi 14.x - iceman1973 - 2014-12-31

Do we have a download link available for this yet?

RE: (Helix) 1080XF 3.40.x for Kodi 14.x - Piers - 2014-12-31

Sorry, update has been sent to repository to correct that. If you would like to fix it yourself, open addon.xml (userdata/addons/skin.1080xf/) and set

to

Sorry about that!

Thx

You have to use the AddOn OpenWeatherMap instead of Yahoo.
This was my solution ;-)

Yep, the above is true. Yahoo! will only provide basic weather for the skin, OpenWeatherMap provides full view support. Fanart images used are available as a pack - ideally I'd include them with the skin but I don't think I'm allowed to + they're somewhere near 100MB from what I remember. I'll see if I can find the link/thread to download them and add it to the first post and here.

I see the issue with the YouTube add-on, I don't use it so haven't checked but it looks like the bromix version is now the official one - the version jumped from 1.x to 5.x - confused and will read up on that but I'll check through the changes and fix what's required for an update. ETA: Today (31/12/2014).

RE: (Helix) 1080XF 3.40.x for Kodi 14.x - Piers - 2014-12-31

I've just tested again, after setting up the YouTube add-on. Bromix has enabled legacy strings which means trailers and other options still work. I can't get them to break. Can someone please give a detailed description about where it's NOT working for them?

RE: (Helix) 1080XF 3.40.x for Kodi 14.x - safesinger - 2014-12-31

Using HP Media Center remote. When in recording options come up only for Play & Resume. Only way to delete an already watched movie or TGV show is t use the mouse right click show then it'll bring up options to delete.

Here's a screenshot of it using the remote. "No option to delete" Kiosk mode is off.

Here it is by right clicking mouse options to delete already watched shows are available.

Is there a way to fix this so don't have to use mouse??

Thanks Piers, worked like a charm Smile

RE: (Helix) 1080XF 3.40.x for Kodi 14.x - tadly - 2014-12-31

Sorry for my late response

The volume thing:
Here you use (beside the dB) a nice indication of the volume...
Image

... where here you have to guess (unless you know that -60 dB is off and 0.0 dB is 100%)
Image

it would be nice to see either a volume-indication on all views (like the one from the first screenshot) or replace
the dB values with a proper % value (0 - 100) Smile

The notification thing:
Just for completion sake. Thats how you'd expect the notifications too look like..
Image

... but in the Fullscreen-OSD (I believe it is called) the informations like weather, time etc. just awkwardly fade back
but the notification itself doesn't show up.
If you go to Fullscreen (without the info-view so you only see the video, visualisation or whatever) there isn't a notification
either.
Image

Hope this explains it better and thanks for your time Smile

There is no mouse support, and I only use keyboards (K400) for all HTPCs. Sorry.

1. enable the "in cinemas now" widget on the homescreen.

2. click on a movie poster

3. normally a search for trailers for this movie would pop up - this is now broken. only the youtube plugin is opening, nothing more.

RE: (Helix) 1080XF 3.40.x for Kodi 14.x - Piers - 2014-12-31

3.40.58 sent to the repository.

Changes include:
- Volume change throughout skin from decibel values to percentages - as requested by more than one person.
- Fix for the Widget Trailers due to new YouTube add-on (thank you for letting me know, pizzaboy)

It should update tonight/tomorrow as usual.
