Gotham crashes on video playback - 3by5 - 2014-06-16 Hi, I am running Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit, but I don't know that this is platform-specific. I just know that playback of any video crashes the program. However, audio plays fine, the visualization plays fine, and animations in the xbmc gui seem to run smoothly. Here is a pastebin: http://pastebin.com/51XWhcvb Here are the error lines: 20:46:31 T:140080403687360 ERROR: GLX: Same window as before, refreshing context 20:46:36 T:140078839998208 ERROR: VAAPI - unable to initialize display -1 - unknown libva error 20:46:37 T:140078839998208 ERROR: VAAPI - unable to initialize display -1 - unknown libva error 20:46:37 T:140080403687360 ERROR: GL: GLSL shaders not supported 20:46:37 T:140080403687360 ERROR: GL: Error compiling and linking video filter shader 20:46:37 T:140080403687360 ERROR: GL: Falling back to bilinear due to failure to init scaler lspci shows I have an Intel 82945G/GZ Integrated Graphics Controller. My understanding is that Intel uses VAAPI, not VDPAU. Anyway, please help. Thanks. RE: Gotham crashes on video playback - 3by5 - 2014-06-16 OK, disabling VAAPI doesn't fix the problem. I'm still getting these errors about shaders. ...And I changed render method to 'software', and this eliminated my shader errors. Now, I'm left with one error: ERROR: GLX: Same window as before, refreshing context |
