Low volume live/recorded tv - gWatkins - 2014-06-24 I am experiencing low volume output when playing live or recorded tv. I have to turn up receiver volume quite a bit when viewing tv and that makes the system sounds very loud. When I play other videos (i.e. Netflix, Hulu, etc...) or music then I have to turn the volume way down (to a normal level). I am using pass through on SPDIF output. Any suggestions? RE: Low volume live/recorded tv - margro - 2014-07-28 The PVR addon only passes the raw audio streams to XBMC. It does not do any processing, so technically it is not related to the PVR addon. I guess that you will experience the same when playing the recording directly from the Video section. It could be that it is related to standard "stereo" v.s. DTS/5.1 Surround. I would ask the audio experts on this forum for advice. |
