Airplay not working - schwastl - 2014-07-13
I installed Raspbmc on my Raspberry Pi yesterday after Shairplay crapped out on me. The install process went really smoothly, but Airplay refuses to work. I enabled it in the Settings, it's seeing the network properly,and I can see it from my other devices. But when I try to select it in iTunes, it says, "Raspbmc (XBMC) is not compatible with this version of iTunes." When I try to select it from my iPhone or iPad, it kicks out of it as soon as I try to push media to it. I did find the other thread about someone running junto the same problem, and I forwarded port 36667 as that thread suggested, but it's still not working. Can anyone help?

works on openelec for me ... just as a hint that its not a general problem but might be distribution specific.
