Migrate from using samba to nfs - ccfc1986 - 2014-07-15

Hey all. I want/need to try switching from samba to nfs for streaming my content from my NAS to my xbmc pc. XBMC uses the sources.xml to know where the media is to check for updates etc. Right? Can I just update the sources table from using smb to nfs? Is there a documented way to do this. I don't want to redo my media from scratch and lose my content/watched status etc. Is there a way to do this? A trick that I don't know about? Thanks in advance.

Your best bet is to just try and see what happens.
