Documentaries aren't recognized - Nukles - 2014-07-26

Hi everyone,

I have many Documentaries in a folder. They are named like this, for example:

Documentary.on.dinosaurs.ep.1of3.mkv
Documentary.on.dinosaurs.ep.2of3.mkv
Documentary.on.dinosaurs.ep.3of3.mkv

They are stored in folders named like this:

Documentary on dinosaurs

Now, if I scrape with TVDB, the funny thing is that the Scraper recognised the folder, but not the file. For instance, in the TV Shows library (I created a separate one with Smart Playlists) I see an entry for "Documentary on Dinosaurs", correctly recognised, but when I click on it, I see no file inside... a sign that the documentary file hasn't been recognised, although the folder has been.

This didn't happen with other actual TV Shows.

Do you know why? Is it just because of the naming?

Thanks

you do not follow default tvshow file format naming. See wiki pages

Unless that is just a made up example, that show isn't on thetvdb so wont ever scrape.
