I do have one request if I may ask... I use the simple vertical version of the skin and I access all my addons and favourites through the widgets at the bottom of the home screen. I have done this by creating sub menus and selecting the widget option that allows you to use sub menu items as widget items, and then disabling the sub menus on the home screen. So my question is, would it be possible to start the widgets from the top so they can fill the whole screen. That way we can see all the sub menu items as tiles on the screen. In shorter words, adding three or four widget rows above the current widgets.

I have no idea... I just tested this on my setup and it's working fine...
Both Multi-image background works and the artist slidehow.

Maybe just re-assign the image-folder to the background ?
Also, I think when the selected images folder isn't available it will fallback to the skins global artwork so maybe Kodi can't access the folder ?

Which homescreen layout are you using? enhanced ?
So, if you have the main menu item focussed the background is shown and when you focus the submenu it's wrong ?

Yes, you are correct - if I hover over the main menu, I get the multiple images I've assigned, but as soon as I click on a submenu, it pulls fanart from the TV folders (I thought it was movies as well, but I was wrong). I've noticed that it is pulling the background from whatever the current TV Show menu background is.

What it used to do until yesterday was continue with the multi image slideshow - unless (in the example of Tunein) it finds band/artist fanart - which it then uses.
If there is no band/artist fanart, it used to default back to the multi images I'd assigned.
I'm pretty certain I hadn't changed anything, because I'd got it working just right
