ATV2 with XBMC no audio options - garyi - 2014-08-05
Hello all.
I just got an ATV quite cheap so though I would bung XBMC on it. I have not used XBMC for a little while but under system>audio used to be options for capable receivers etc.
However all there is now is 'keep audio alive' and 'play gui sounds'
Sadly everything therefore outputs in stereo, no 5.1.
I have the ATV connected to a tv with HDMI, however audio is handled via SPDIF out to the receiver.
Are there simply no adjustments or ability to tell XBMC its OK to output 5.1?
