XBMC ATV2 smb share no longer working - sappiajk - 2014-08-08
I went on vacation and unplugged my atv and router and took my HD that is typically connected to my router with me. When I returned I plugged everything back in, but I can't get the xbmc on ATV (or infuse) to recognize the HD share any longer. I have tried a complete reinstall of xbmc. I can connect to the SMB using my laptop and using xbmc on my laptop.

I should add: my other apple tv can find the HD using the same settings. I am trying to completely reset the ATV

Resetting the ATV did not work. I rejailbroke the atv to 5.3 and then reinstalled xbmc and still same share error.

Tried Infuse and I get : "an error occurred. could not open dir [smb://10.0.0.100]. Reason: Operation Timed out (60).
So it isn't just xbmc. It is as if this particular ATV can't get to the shared drive on the router, but the other atv can. Any ideas?
