It is also slow to start and works totally appart from kodi. I have also the idea it re-streams the original stream (not sure as I haven't look into the code) which makes it even slower and not syncronized.
My ideia is to make a service addon that uses p2p-streams in the first place but it might not work in one hand and might require a lot of work on the other Smile Let's see.

Also note the hashes/tokens change a lot and I have to think of a way of allowing this service to integrate the parsers so users won't have to bother about the channel id's. I think this is possible AFAICT (need to investigate) since yatsee and other mobile apps can get the list of listitems inside any addon

So I cannot directly copy the link I get from the internet explorer/chrome into the addon's respective field (AceStream: Play Acestream hash)? What is Acestream hash ? The part in the link which is located after "acestream&c=" ?
So in this link that I took from the browser while browsing livetv.sx acestream hash is the text in bold and red?

I just bought MINIX NEO X8-H with pre installed XBMC gotham on it. I installed P2P-Streams Video add on, but I have dificulties launching direct acestream links / playing acestream hash.

My wish was to use the links (both acestream and sopcasts links) available at livetv.sx

So if this is the link (acestream in this example):
http://cdn.livetv.sx/webplayer2.php?t=acestream&c=1e56fc9740b167a71ffc4d76569213b5332fa424&lang=en&eid=277888&lid=259242&ci=279&si=2

Which part of the link shall I copy into text field „AceStream: Play Acestream hash” in order to stream this link in XBMC using P2P-Streams Video add on?

Is this correct (see bellow how I have copied the link into the command line showed on the first page)?
plugin://plugin.video.p2p-streams/?url=http://cdn.livetv.sx/webplayer2.php?t=acestream&c=1e56fc9740b167a71ffc4d76569213b5332fa424&lang=en&eid=277888&lid=259242&ci=279&si=2

Hi Enen and others

I know that Codesnake's version of Openelec is incompatible with P2P but can anyone advise if Jaybob's Linux version is or Cronic Corey's version?

Many thanks

Darren

Glad I found this thread, been trying to get it working on fire tv and haven't had success yet. Thanks for making this addon, regardless of whether I can get it working or not.

Edit: Got it working. Thanks again.

A small sneak peek of what I've been working on and my plans to p2p-streams. It will still take a lot of time and I won't work on this on the following days but at least SopCast seems ready Smile

Cheers

Probably something related to the users on your system..it detects 3 possible working users (your: Leonkand and another two C:\Users\UpdatusUser). Or probably something related to Kodi (didn't test it on windows yet). Can you check if you have the same problem if using XBMC gotham 13.2? You should be able to have both side by side.

That's still xbmc with aeon nox with the live tv mod (http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=193991). It makes the Live TV section look like an enigma 2. Either aeon nox or the live tv mod have been already ported to Kodi Helix.

same error with Gotham too. That's strange cause I have 1 user account on my system. Maybe I could try to create another user and see if it makes any difference.

The problem is with the creation of the service itself otherwise you'd get the error message only when trying to set the permissions for the service.

Can you open you cmd as administrator and run this please:

Code:
sc create sopcastp2p binpath="C:\Program Files (x86)\SopCast\srvany.exe"

Pastebin the output

I have to add a space after "=" and then it results
Code:
[SC] CreateService SUCCESS

RE: P2P-Streams - SopCast and AceStream for Kodi - enen92 - 2014-12-26

weird, I'll upload later a test version with some more debug information. The problem is your log isn't showing anything after you ran the "sc create" bit so I have no idea what the problem is. Most likely the error is being logged in stderr and not stdout.

For now just replace the autoconf file in C:\users\youruser\Appdata\Roaming\kodi\addons\plugin.video.p2p-streams\core\autoconf.py with this one:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18776566/errosp2p/autoconf.py

It should ignore the error. Let me know if there is any other error and if it works. If it does it's just a matter of finding out why that error is appearing in the first place.

Thanks
