You can set this up with your Pi now to get an idea how it will work

Tablet --- 802.11 ---> Pi --- HDMI ---> Projector

Temporary replace Tablet with your phone until you buy the tablet. Later, you can replace the Pi with a NUC. Grab Yatse from the Play store and enable XBMC can be controlled via HTTP.

Okay, I like the sound of this so far.... As i said at the begining, Im no technical genius.. And i understand the plan above just what question.. whats the 802.11 ?

and I have an Iphone. Is Yatse available? did a quick search and it could'nt find it? anybody know of a decent remote app for an iphone?
