Fire tv: time indicator and skipping problem. - outofphaze - 2014-08-15

Hi everyone.

I have a problem where the time indicator when playing video keeps indicating 0. As a result, when trying to skip forward or backwards, it returns to the beginning. So basically there is no way of knowing how deep into a movie I am and fast forward keeps starting at 0.

This problem exists with both files on my home server and files online.

Weird thing is that it does not happen with all files though. I would say 50% or so.

I have tried 13.1 and 13.2

Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm hoping there is a fix because I am loving everything else of xbmc on fire tv!

Thanks.

turn off mediacodec and turn on lightscribe (both under video/acceleration) then restart the fire tv (hold select and play for several seconds)
