TV Shows Library not updating - Savage702 - 2014-08-17
Finally upgraded from 12.2 to 13.1. Running Win 7 clients with all media & MySQL on an Ubuntu server. The upgrade seems to have gone ok, the only thing is NEW TV Shows are not adding into the Library. Existing shows adding new episodes seem to be adding ok, cleaning the Library seems to work ok. I have checked the permissions on the new TV Shows I've added, and all ownership and permissions seem to be ok, and there's no oddball characters in the TV Show names.

Same here, when i scan my library it says that thetvdb cannot connect to remote server, it worked fine yesterday so i'm assuming it's something temporary. Also, i got a bunch of updates when i started my player, don't know if it's related.

Oh ok... maybe it's just bad timing on my part then! LOL Guess we'll wait and see. Anyone else getting the same? On my shares though, I already have Show NFO's and everything, so I'd assume it would just add anyway.

There seems to be a problem with tvdb I'm having to scan some shows a few times for it to connect

Glad to hear I'm not alone.

So this is still going on... I have new episodes downloading and adding to my library just fine, it still refuses to update the new shows I added last night. I finally drilled down to the Videos, found the TV Show folder, and select "TV Show Information". It scanned, then added it into the Library.
