XBMC System power up via remote - jwimsett - 2014-08-17
Is there a way to power up the system via remote? I'm not talking about an Android or IOS remote, but a physical remote.
Not sure if there is a way to enable WOL with this type of remote?

You may be able to wake from suspend deepening on what type of receiver you have. Check the systems BIOS for some 'wake on X' options and also in the receiver settings in windows device manager.
