I also use JuiceSSH on my tablet. - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonelli.juicessh&hl=en RE: SSH to XBMC - elusien - 2014-08-19 I use Bitvise SSH Client on my Windows systems to connect to my ATV. It has a very nice GUI and I have had no problems with it. https://www.bitvise.com/SSH-client RE: SSH to XBMC - nickr - 2014-08-19 Does Firetv have an ssh server built in? I don't think so, most android distros don't. I think most people transfer files too and from their firetv with one of the adb programs, the same way as you get XBMC on there in the first place. Ahh, that's right you have to install/run an ftp server app first before connecting to AFTV. Between adb via Terminal Emulator and juice ssh for my Rpi's I forgot what I had been using. RE: SSH to XBMC - ncube2 - 2014-08-20 Yes i have after i enter my FTVs ip and hit Open i get connection refused.. So how do i get this to work. Any help is appreciated. I will try the Bitvise in the meanwhile. Thanks. I guess the answer is NONE. Use the ADB tools, or install an SSH server. RE: SSH to XBMC - ncube2 - 2014-08-20 Is there any that anyone can recommend for SSH server on Android. RE: SSH to XBMC - nickr - 2014-08-20 You don't need one, use the ADB tools. RE: SSH to XBMC - logan_x50 - 2014-08-21 Use FTP Server https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rapfox.ftpsvr Then use any ftp client you like. I use cyberduck https://cyberduck.io/?l=en |
