Frodo on HTPC hp5740 and memory... - patripat - 2014-08-21

Hello everyone,

being happy owner of a HP T5740 running windows xp embedded, i turned it into a media center with the help of xbmc.
now, willing to watch live TV on it, i got an m3u playlist that i use with the pvr simple plugin, it works fine, but...
every now and then, it is freezing, and i got to restart xbmc...
i believe this is due to lack of internal memory, and my question is :
is is possible to make it that everything that xbmc has to write on memory while watching live tv would go on a usb stick and wouldn't it become too slow?

thanks in advance for your answers,
best regards
Pat

How much RAM do you have?

And Frodo isnĀ“t supported anymore...I would switch to Gotham
