This can be done, but not without making changes to the skin design itself i'm afraid.

I found out Maximinimalism does not work on a new install of Kodi 16. It was working perfectly on my old install, with kodi 16. Will you be making it ready for new versions? It was the best skin I had ever used.
The version found on you github is not able to install.
