Raspbmc WiFi Dongle? - sgibbers17 - 2014-08-27

Is there a WiFi dongle that has been confirmed working with raspbmc? I just want to know before I buy one that doesn't work.

I am looking at this one.

I have a TP Link TL-WN725N and an Edimax Nano (can't remember the model) which both work out of the box.

I had good results with this.
Although if you want to play HD video reliably then wired ethernet is always best.

EDIMAX EW-7811UN WIRELESS 802.11 B/G/N 150MBPS NANO USB ADAPTER
Item Number 330748423503

Works perfectly out of the box at 11N speeds.

Cheers

I benefit that the TP Link has over the Edimax is that the LED doesn't light the room up like a Christmas tree, trivial I know but I use my Rpi in my bedroom and i woken up in the middle of night thinking that I'm about to be abducted by aliens!

I just got my Edimax today and the light is dim, they may have redesigned it.
