Many log errors on fanart: Unsupported protocol(image) - PhilipW - 2014-08-27

Gotham 13.2 / Aeon Nox 5

Reviewed my log on my newly finished XBMC platform and notice many errors are being added the log point to fanart files. It appears as they randomly come as backdrops, some have problems.

An example:

11:16:49 T:79528 WARNING: XFILE::CDirectoryFactory::Create - Unsupported protocol(image) in image://F%3a%5cMovies.Bluray%5cThe%20Matrix%20(1999)%5cThe%20Matrix%20(1999)%20x264-1080p%20AC3-6ch-fanart.jpg/

I checked a few of the files and they all appear to be normal .jpg files that load fine into my editor.

Something I've missed maybe?

Log file posted here (after I selected movies and it ran for a few minutes randomly selecting backdrops):

I'm having the exact same error as well. Just starting using 13.2 today.

Looks like you are opening a bluray iso. If yes, this should be fixed in helix nightlies

For me, I only have mp4 files from my blu-ray rips.

I only use MKV containers. However, I'm onto a possible solution. It appears the texture cache is corrupt. There is a Texture Cache Maintenance Tool but I don't know a lick of Python! I have python installed on my MAC but for the last hour I can't figure out how to run this tool. Doh!
