Update to Win 8.1 broke ServerWMC - kristiandg - 2014-09-02
Good evening. I just ran the Win 8.1 updates and now ServerWMC won't start. It says:
"Could not load file or assembly 'ehRecObj, Version=6.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. Unrecoverable Error - ServerWMC will terminate!"
Any thoughts? I tried running a REPAIR from the installer, but no luck.

You need to do a fresh install if you change OS (I know going from 8 to 8.1 doesn't seem like a new OS but to wmc it is). Just uninstall the version you have and download the installer from our website (see my sig below) and do a fresh install. The config.xml file of serverwmc will be retained so you won't need to reconfigure.
