How about making plugins scrape when idle ? - invader7 - 2014-09-04
Hello , i'm a big fan of xbmc and i have it in my living room , i want to try something , i want to "play" with some plugins and make them scrape only when xbmc is idle , so the next time i will open a plugin the first X pages of movies will be there and i won't wait in order to download them.
I know that plugins caches scraped data but i want to add functionality to scrape all plugins when htpc is idle.
What do you think ??

Great idea!
I always run into such things. I like Wacthdog plugin since that scrapes on changes of directory contents. That already solved most of my problems with this.
I don't believe this works on network shares though.
