AirPlay - iOS 8 results in audio only - nzskater - 2014-09-18
I've had AirPlay working from my iOS 7.x iPhone and iPad for the last few months. Updated to iOS 8 today and found that playing video from web pages or YouTube with the XBMC AirPlay server as the output on the phone results in only the audio stream from playing through XBMC.
Running XBMC 13.2 on Windows 7 x64, using iPad Retina and iPhone 5s.

Don't update to iOS8 then.
Apple is know to break stuff.

As already mentioned in the big airplay ios7 thread it looks like apple killed all 3rd party airplay implementations by changing the requirements on ios8. Time to say bye bye to XBMC airplay support soon ...
