Advanced Wake-on-Lan: Wake two devices? - tucb - 2014-09-22
Dear All,
currently I'm using Advanced Wake-on-Lan Addon to wake up my PVR-Backend (TVHeadend).
I would like to wake up my NAS with my media files too (separately). Is it possible to use AWOL two times?
How can I solve this? Is there a second Addon maybe?
(couldn't find anything by searching)

I created a sub-menu item and used the XBMC built-in WOL function.

I like Advanced WOL better since it checks when the devices are online.
You can use AWOL twice but you have to edit the ID of the second install;
1) Copy awol script in addons dir
2) rename the dire to something like "script.advanced.wol.2"
3) Go through the xml files etc and look for the ID and replace it with the new ID
I'm typing this from work, don't have an example ready with me so might miss something but this is the general idea.
