Local characters - bodozer - 2014-10-03 Hi team, Sometimes, the local swedish characters like å, ä ö isn't displayed in XBMC. The first line in my nfo file look likes: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?> Tested several encodings without success. Info from scraper gets it right, but my homevideos are not readable. Someone with same problem (and a fix) ? Running Gotham 13.2 on W7 and now Linux Mint 17 mate thanx in advance Bodozer RE: Local characters - bodozer - 2014-10-21 Hi team, I've got some home videos with homemade nfo-files. Those contains local characters, all of them disappears when viewed in XBMC. I'm tried local nfo-files as scraper and different encoding settings - without any luck. Normal movies (listed in IMDB or TheMovieDB), works okay. Here the local characters are displayed as the should. Even the homemade nfo-files works well. I also have problem to display exif comments in picture/photon. Here the local characters disappears from the pictures, but are shown when the are typed directly in Slideshow.xml settings as label... You guys from Germany and other Nordic countries don't you have same problem? best regards, Bodozer RE: Local characters - DaVu - 2014-10-22 Hi bodozer... We german guys have this problem, too. And I found a solution. I explained it here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=200902&pid=1761507#pid1761507 So take a look and see if you like it. RE: Local characters - kariinee - 2014-10-22 Well, it's very nice to add a solution there. That is very detailed.
