Remote desktop issue - jockinaus - 2014-10-12
Hey guys
I am trying to set up remote desktop from my windows 7 pc to my Raspberry Pi with XBMC
I manage to connect,log on, then I get this message
Xsession: unable to start X session --- no"/home/pi/.xsession" file,no "/home/pi/.Xsession, no session managers and no terminal emulators found aborting.
Any ideas ?

To get VNC to work with XBMC on the Pi you'd need to do something like install it on top of raspbian while in the desktop, and XBMC doesn't run very well in that situation. The way XBMC works on the good distributions, like OpenELEC, are not compatible with VNC remote desktop.
