Total Noob here - Argyll - 2014-10-12
Hi guys. I'm a total noob when it comes to XBMC and want to buy a set up from ebay/amazon etc. Can anyone give me any pointers to what I should look out for when purchasing a box.
I live in the UK.

* energy-saving?
* Noise Level?
* Size?
* Cost?
* Android/Windows/Linux ?
* Live TV?
* NAS, external HDD or Streaming?
* will you play Animes (hi10 1080p flac), Or other heavy stuff.
* gaming
last but not least ... your Skills in case of build your own Media-center?
network, Terminal and config skills?

in my humble Opinion I love the nuc series http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Intel_NUC ... I own by myself an i5 Haswell with an fanless case ... enough power for everything by only 12Watt (Its too much for only an HTPC
)but this has an price ... 400-500Euro (320-450£)
