Tools to compare movie collections - cpmiller22 - 2014-10-17
Hi all-
I currently store all my movies in a format like this
Folder = <title> (<year>)
Movie = <title> (<year>)
I use MediaElch and Media Manager to help keep my collections clean as well as to perform the renaming. A little while ago I lost a drive with lots of my movies. Since then I've started rebuilding some of my collection. I recently remembered that I had a back-up of some of my movies stored at a friends. I'm looking for an easy way to quickly compare two different drives with potentially overlapping titles so I can remove the duplicates and have one clean, and complete collection again for use with XBMC. Any tips on the best tools and/or process to accomplish this would be much appreciated!

so... a tool just to sync 2 folders?
If the names didn't change, this will be an easy part.
For Windows, i always use FreeFileSync
