Couple Questions - Apple. - 2014-10-20

QUESTION 1

I currently have Apple TV2 with XBMC v12.3 FRODO... i would like to know if there is a new version that I can update to in order to make this go faster. I did clear the cache but it still buffers a ton and makes viewing very slow.

QUESTION 2

for my basement I would like to get a android tv and install xbmc and hbo etc etc.. which android box should i purchase from best buy which will allow me to install xbmc etc?

RE: Couple Questions - Ned Scott - 2014-10-20

1. No, because buffering happens due to slow servers or slow connections. You can try to use wired ethernet or connect to services that are faster, most most of the time it is outside of the user's control.

2. From best buy? Amazon Fire TV.

amazon fire tv is not on best buy.CA which sucks..
