Thin Mini-ITX Cases, £50/60? - tibble89 - 2014-10-21

In UK looking to spend £50/60 and need the external brick as the motherboard has a DC jack. Doesn't seem to be many options, though. My Tv is mounted on the wall and want to mount the pc in between the TV and wall bracket, have about 60mm space. Maybe the Silverstone case is my only option?

Would prefer to use Amazon and found this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008XI7FJA/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE ..although reviews suggest the "180w" psu is 60w, which probably isn't enough for me.

You realize the case you posted is 130mm. The Akasa Galileo is a great slim itx case.

I like the ISK110 and I was tempted but I thought it would be much neater if I could mount a case in between my TV and the bracket used to mount on the wall. Fanless probably isn't an option, don't think the case would get enough airflow to help cool it down?

Anyone recommend an external PSU brick on Amazon UK? Will probably go for the case I linked but the 60w PSU may not be enough.

Make sure your motherboard will fit http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=419&area=en

As for power supply, I bought mine here when I used to have an M350 http://www.mini-box.com/AC-DC-power-supplies

Still using it for my home server.

Motherboard: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00GYLFO4G/ref=ox_sc_act_title_7?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

I think it will fit that case but Amazon don't have it in stock, only other sellers..

If you use the silverstone petit case then you will have to find a very thin cpu cooler.

Or you could try http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Q1900TM-ITX/ as mobo.
For DC every standard HP Notebook PowerBlock is ok.

Can anyone recommend a remote that has an headphone jack? Not bluetooth, though.. i tried some bluetooth headphones recently and there's too much delay

RE: Thin Mini-ITX Cases, £50/60? - nooryani84 - 2014-10-25

Why not just go with an RF based one that doesn't use Bluetooth?

RE: Thin Mini-ITX Cases, £50/60? - tibble89 - 2014-10-26

Anyone have any other case suggestions? Kinda confusing with these cheap cases, they seem to have a different name in every country..

RE: Thin Mini-ITX Cases, £50/60? - tibble89 - 2014-10-27

I may look at bigger size cases. Most of the smaller ones only take 40mm fans and I'd like to be able to put 80mm inside if the temps do get a bit too high..

Doesn't seem to much choice, though. Preferably no ODD or front USB/Audio ports as it ruins the aesthetics a little.
