XBMC as a server - Josefin - 2014-11-16
Hi!
I came across Plex Media Server and I wonder if Kodi can function like this so that I dont need to create new libraries each time I install Kodi on one of the home computers.
In other words, the local Kodi installation shall stream from a Kodi server. Is that possible?
If so, how shall I setup user accounts? Eg "Movies" and "Kids" whith their own libraries. Can this be set up in the Kodi "server" or should it be set up in the Kodi "client"?

You can use upnp or you can share your library using MySQL. The wiki has details.
