change default background - rflores2323 - 2014-12-06
I have kodi running on a nexus 7 .
Using retouched skin. I want to change the background and the skin settings doesn't have that option. Where can I find the file and change it out? Thanks

I would download a copy of ReTouched to put in the user-editable addons folder, which will be in the Kodi settings folder that holds the userdata (wiki) folder. You can grab a copy from here: https://github.com/xbmc/skin.re-touched (just click the download zip link).
Then you should be able to edit the background image and it will stay customized even when you update to Kodi v14 final. Should be in the "background" folder as SKINDEFAULT.jpg
