Hi ryant and welcome to the forums.

If you post a screenshot, it's much easier for me to help you.

Did it previously work with Rapier?

RE: [RELEASE] Rapier 8.5.1 for Kodi 15.x Isengard - steve11 - 2015-12-22

Hi Gade.
It seems that Jarvis has some issues with Windows Vista (which I unfortunately have to use for time being).
Is it that you will no longer update Rapier for Isengard only for Jarvis?

Rapier is updated for both Jarvis, Isengard (which you can see some posts ago) and Helix.

Helix will no longer be supported when Jarvis gets an official release.

The LatestDude add-on is banned on these forums and not supported.

However, I have just fixed some issues regarding the images in most views, so hopefully this should fix your missing images.

It will be available both in the next development update and in the next official update.

Just remember that each time the skin updates, your custom edits to the xml files are overwritten. And I strongly encourage everyone to keep the skin updated at all times.

I don't think I'll add this to the official version of the skin though...

Hi Gade thank you sorry for the delayed reply, ive been ill. i tried as you suggested but it didnt seem to work.

Any ideas? i updated to the latest skin version before hand.

Thanks

Hi wheelzi31.

Try downloading this version of VideoFullScreen.xml and replace the current file in skin.rapier/720p.

That should give you the information when the OSD is active.

Please let me know how it turns out.

Anybody interested in fanart backgrounds (movies, music, videos, tv shows - random, recent, in progress, unwatched) being available for custom categories?

Adding this, will break ALL current backgrounds for custom categories.

Many thanks.

Edit: videos watched with Confluence shows as unwatched. Is this flag skin dependent? Thanks

Watched/unwatched status is global in Kodi.

Which view type you use? Could you perhaps take a screenshot?

Watched/unwatched overlays are either check marks or white/blue quality overlays.

HI. After some tinkering I found out that the watched flag is not set for NFS shares but only in smb shares. I switched to Confluence to test and it's working.

Hmm... that sounds strange.

I really can'y help you if you don't tell me which view type you use and which library content (movies, tv shows etc.) you are using in which section of Kodi.

A screenshot will also be extremely helpful.

Hi Gade, hope you had a nice Xmas.

I recall a while ago before the last update the idea of displaying the poster art while a movie was paused came up and you weren't so sure about it.
I was wondering if there is any possibility of that or if you have moved on to Jarvis for updates.
Thanks.

Hi Steve.

Thanks, hope the same for you Smile

That's true. I actually tried cooking something up, but didn't really like the result. I might give another go sometime in the future.

Rapier already has built in support for clear art / clear logos when you pause the movie or episode:

Image

If you don't already have clear art or clear logos for your movies / tv shows, you can get them in the Skin Settings > Add-ons > Artwork Downloader > Download Presets - Movies / TV Shows > Clear Art / Clear Logo.

I currently fully support Isengard and Jarvis. Since the last update, Helix only gets bugfixes and smaller updates - and as soon as Jarvis is official, Helix will be deprecated.
