best way to remove channels - thebearnecessit - 2015-04-12
When browsing my kodi epg i have about 40 of my 80 channels that will never be used,
I simply don't want those channels to appear on any epg or channel lists.
whats the proper/best way to delete these channels?
(I tried deleting the "services" in tvheadend itself but then when i redo the epg in kodi these channels still appear at the bottom of my epg with no name just "name-not-set")
(i also couldnt use kodis channel manager as it said deleting from there is not supported by the client tvheadend)
any ideas? do i just have to hide them using kodi?

You don't need to reset the database after deleting a channel, just restart Kodi.
