usb to hdmi support on openelec or kodibuntu - masg11 - 2015-04-29 I'd like to convert two toshiba laptops I have into Mediacenters but neither has any video output ports. Does anyone know if either openelec or kodibuntu would support a device like this: usb to hdmi or if their is another way to go about getting the signal to my tv. My existing openelec lapop does have hdmi out. RE: usb to hdmi support on openelec or kodibuntu - nickr - 2015-04-30 I would be suspicious about whether such a device would do all frame rates required for a decent media centre. You could buy one and see, but the price is 1/3 of the way to the price of real media centre like a Chromebox. |
