XBMC on windows explorer context - mnemonix - 2006-11-07
Hey everyone
I got inspired with this firefox plug-in (http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=505654&st=0) so I created one for windows explorer that even creates a temporary samba share when required
I'm sure it's been done before, but I don't think I searched hard enough :/It's not without bugs, but I'd thought I'd share the love...

Package is updated
Now comes with curl as standard and can process files with spaces. Runs a lot quicker/tidier now!! smile.gif
It seems more stable, atm I'm not needing to do stuff inbetween calls, seems like the stop api command is working finally
EDIT - doh, still get the unable to play file sometimes, but if you go into a section then enter Workgroup (SMB) it'll work perfect onwards ... I can only assume this to be a problem somewhere with XBMC's http api

This looks interesting. Send me a PM and we can have a look into the HttpApi issues.
I have tried your app on Vista RC2 and it looks like it should work there once the Vista/XBMC SMB issue is resolved.
